Thank you!

Dear Captain Paul W. Bucha,

My name is Oswaldo, we all feel proud of what you have done,
saving your men at battle, by killing the enemy only just you while your men got out alive,
you have saved families, brothers, fathers, sons.
We all thank you fo saving those peoples lifes
with out having to think about it. Many people
give thanks to you because you are a very brave and proud person.
We all thank you for destroying the enemys bunkers and it was
smart from you by telling your men to play death while you were trying to get them
out just by your self and it was amazing that you didin't
got killed while they were uploading the
helicopters of people. we are all proud of you and we
thank you for saving their lifes!

Paul W. Bucha

A West Point graduate, Captain Paul Bucha was the commanding officer of a reconnaissance-in-force mission that was inserted by helicopter to locate and destroy an enemy stronghold. When his men were pinned down by heavy machine-gun fire, Captain Bucha crawled 40 meters through a hail of enemy fire to single-handedly destroy the bunker with grenades. Though wounded, upon seeing his units perimeter was about to be over-run, he ordered a withdrawal while providing covering fire. At one point during the night, he ordered his men to "play dead" while he brought in friendly fire on the enemy. He also stood, in full view of the enemy, with a flashlight to direct the evacuation of three helicopters carrying the most seriously wounded from the field of battle.

Be together!

"With this faith we will be able to work together,
to pray together,
to go to jail together,
to struggle together,
to go to jail together,
knowing that we will be free one day."
what it means is that what Martin Luther King Jr. is trying to say that one day him and his people [African American] will have freedom and they will have the same rights as everybody else

~Poem~

Does it burns like Hell?

or lives like earth?

Does it burns like fire?

or it clears like water?

maybe it burns

or does it burns?

The American Dream!

For my parents their American dream was to be in this country so that they could work hard to help my family back in Mexico. For them getting money and getting to buy a house so that their family could have a better future in here in the US and back there at Mexico. They want to get enough money so that they could go back to Mexico and live a better life with all their family together and wont be worrying about not having any work and paying bills just leaving their lives in a good way way.

should illegal immigrants stay in this country?

Illegal immigrants should stay in this country because, they have come to this country for a better future for them and their families. They have been thru alot of hard things, trying to be in this country, they could of even lost family members while getting here. They came here to look for a job not to steal from other people like what they say. They work really hard so that they could support their families in their country and some of them have children that was born in the US and if they kick them out of these country they will be breaking up a family, they cant take their children with them because theirs countries wont give the same opportunities that these country gives them!. If they go back to their country, in here in the US there wont be enough people to do all the hard jobs that the immigrants used to do. Illegal immigrants should stay in this country because they are just living their lives with out hurting anyone.

slave story

My name is Morex. I was born in Laredo Texas. I am 93 years old. I will tell you my testimony because i want for people to know that not all of the slaves owners were bad.

My old master had killed my father. My father died because

he refused to whip an slave, so in answer to that Mr. Smith [my old owner]

whip my father in the head and when my f

ather landed on the floor he hit him self on the head with a rock which cause him his death,

that was when i was six years old.

Two years later at the age of nine i saw that Mr. Smith was on top of the roof

watching all of his men working hard, so i decided to go where he was and just out of no

where i decided to push him when he landed on the floor the impact was so big that he

couldn't move his body but just his eyes and every time

i seen him he will look at me trying to kill me with is look, and all i said was

"What goes around comes back around", and i left with my new owner

2 moths after his name was Shelby he was a good man.

We help in the reconstructure after the Civil War ended.

Every day i used to wake up at 6.am to help my master by keeping the house clean

and making the food after that i used to go to church to pray for other

slaves and hoping that this slavery came up to an end,

not just for me, but for my people. Mr. Shelby got a disease and he died

two years after at the age of 85. He thought me all the education he could of,

when he died he left me incharge of his house and other worker he

had which i send free after all.

I went to Africa, to look for my mother which had scaped from Texas together with another 20 slaves.
It was hard to find her because i never been in Africa but when
i finally found her she was very sick, and two weeks after that she past away.
I decied to go back to Texas, when i found out that Mr Abraham Lincoln was the new
president and that the slavery had finished i was very happy because i knew that all of our
dream had become true.

Values

Wat Hispanic value the most compared to the American values:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Money

Because many people are raced in a different way.

Many people have money need for them is not a big thing about caring about

the money they have some of them have enough for them and for their families.

Other people value money the most because they need to pay, that's why

most of the Hispanic people value the money the most.

Most of the American families live together but they don't

have alot of communication between each other.
For me my family comes first and I'm very
sure that for most Hispanic people
what it matters more in this world
is our moms or like i say
"La Familia Primero"
